Ian MacKaye and Jeff Nelson, influenced by Bad Brains, formed the band Teen Idles in 1979. The group broke up in 1980, and MacKaye and Nelson went je to form Minor Threat, a band which, apart from Bad Brains, ah arguably had the biggest influence je the hardcore punk sorte, and whose impôt to the music, ethics, aesthetic, and ethos are still widel
